Byron Schneider, MD

Dr. Schneider is an associate professor with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Director of the Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship. Prior to this, he completed his PM&R residency and interventional spine fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Schneider has over 100 publications, with a research focus on the safety and outcomes of interventional spine procedures. He has given over 200 lectures at national and international meetings.  He is currently on the Board of Directors for the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society serving as the Chair of the Standards Division as well as the Board of Directors for North American Spine Society where he also serves as the Co-Chair of the Coverage Committee.
