PAIN MEDICINE
COALITION
Convened in 2024, the Pain Medicine Coalition was launched by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA PM) to advance the common goals of the pain medicine community and to advocate for responsible pain care for all patients. Subsequently, the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS) joined the coalition in 2024 and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) in 2025.
